Condé Fort, located between Laon and Soissons is a fine example of late 19th century military architecture, and part of the defensive network conceived by General Séré de Rivière to protect Paris. An outstanding historic site for the whole family!

Events :

Historic reconstruction at the Condé Fort –September
For two days, volunteers retell history from 1870 to 1945. Find out about the lives of the troops of Napoleon III and the men who fought in the two World Wars: overnight camp, mess, sick bay, artefacts made in the trenches, weapon craftsmanship in the field, drill, a range of military vehicles and the firing of cannons.

From 15/04 to 30/04, May, September, October and 01/11 to 15/11, daily from 9:30 a.m. to midday and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

June, July, August, daily from 9:30 a.m. to midday and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
