Summer treasure hunts

Disturbing clues, well kept secrets... will you be able to decrypt them?

Treasure hunts in the Aisne are aimed at families, school parties, children’s outdoor activity groups, even adults who are still young-at-heart. They can form part of a special occasion (birthday / visit by family or friends) or just be enjoyed on a normal Sunday afternoon.

What they all have in common is the opportunity to explore. Some take you back through the ages and introduce you to mysterious figures from the past. Others lead you through countryside and forest in search of exciting clues.

Enigmas, riddles, puzzles whose answers will help you find secret codes, piece together a jigsaw or recreate a magic word.

Treasure hunts or treasure trails are great for getting everyone talking and working together. They provide a definitive goal for an outing and are a fun way to learn.

Villers-Cotteret Tourist Information Office invites you to find the hidden treasures of the Retz forest in 5 separate stages: Longpont, the Alexander Dumas museum, the château of King François I, the château of Montgobert and the Retz forest.

Find the mystery word at Blérancourt, with clues dotted all about the town. Here’s a hint to help you: use all your powers of observation.

Last but not least, go in search of a secret strongbox at the Château of Condé-en-Brie, in the company of little Prince Eugène.
