1st anniversary, 1st assessment … of the Ailette Lake park

It is already a year since the Aisne Center Parcs welcomed its first residents.

The sun is still shining in the Aisne Center Parcs!

During school holidays the cottages were mainly rented by French people; out of season by their Belgian, English and Swiss counterparts. Parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren – everyone seems very pleased with the services and facilities available on the Ailette Lake site.

More modern than the two others parks, the site has attracted many tourists and just as many corporate clients for seminars, conferences or other innovative activities. In 2008 three large pharmaceutical companies took over the whole complex for several days. With its 4,080 beds and conference centre, the site has much to offer the business client.

As the park is close to a number of tourist attractions and leisure activity centres, residents can easily explore the region. The Caverne de Dragon and the town of Laon have both seen a 20% increase in visitor numbers while the riding school at Sainte-Croix has catered for 300 extra riders. At the ‘Maison de l’Aisne’, Bérangère and Annabelle have provided information and advice to thousands of holidaymakers every month. Tour of a Champagne cellar, game of golf, fishing trip, etc - requests received are specific and varied.

One year after the Aisne Center Parcs opened its doors, results have been very positive and all-round benefits most encouraging. In short, the outlook is excellent for the Ailette Lake Park!
