Through is city gates, enter Laon's majestic old town, the jewel on the hilltop. One thousand enthraling years of history await you: from the depths of the underground passages with their many legends to the vertiginous cathedral rooftops, via the fortifications of the medieval town. You have a choice of two tours: a guided tour of the underground passages or a dizzying tour of the cathedral rooftops.

The Powder store mystery
You thought you were just visiting the underground passages. Wrong. A demonic voice startles you and strange phenomena start to occur. It all starts to get strange! To undo the spell cast by Dieudonné, warden of the citadel and find you way out, you will have to show plenty of guile.

The Euromédiévales – June
The Euromédiévales are a popular festive occasion based on Laon’s medieval heritage. Check out the traditional medieval market, the camps, a small farm with ponies, geese, birds of prey and horses. Short plays, juggling and Celtic music add to the entertainment!

Opening hours:
Visits are available from the Tourist Office (be sure to arrive at least one hour before the office closes). Advance booking is advisable.

For a visit to the choice (adults and childrens): 4€
Prix malin card: a guided tour of the underground passages or a dizzying tour of the cathedral rooftops: 3€
